Additional Schooling to Help Students Reach University

Posted By Joćo Lago Junior | Tuesday, November 09, 2010

The program seeks to make it possible for these teenagers to have access to the University or higher education without difficulty. With less than three dollars a day can you make a difference in the life of young poor Brazilian.

In the Alternative School Project of the Fe y Alegria Foundation, some 180 high school students receive daily education and meals in a session additional to the one they have already spend in their public school. The creativity of the students has been stimulated, as have also their ability to read and interpret, their critical analysis, questioning and research, their time management, besides Christian and civic values, such as solidarity among others things.
